Its simple, user-friendly one-button control allows you to easily select from three different fan speeds, all of which help remove allergy-causing pollutants and odors. The three-stage filtration process begins with a colorful, washable pre-filter that captures larger particles like dust and pet hair. The air then passes through a particle and activated carbon filter, which catches virtually every airborne contaminant down to virus size: pollen, dust, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, allergens, and bacteria. This eliminates everyday smells such as food and pet odors naturally, without the use of harsh chemicals that merely mask the odors.

The purifier's unique design features millions of ultra-thin fibers in different layers, making it less dense than ordinary filters. This results in less clogging, higher airflow, and lower noise. In fact, on the lowest setting, the 121 is described as whisper-silent. The purifier is designed to fit seamlessly into any room, with two different pre-filter colors (blue and dark grey) included, and additional colors available for purchase separately.

Certified by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM), the Blue Pure 121 has a clean air delivery rate of 350 cubic feet per minute, allowing it to clean the air in a 161 square feet room 4.8 times per hour. The 360-degree bottom air inlet and three-part filtration system capture 99% of common airborne PM 2.5 pollutants, including allergens, odors, smoke, mold spores, dust mites, and pet dander. The activated carbon filter also removes common odors caused by smoke, pets, cooking, dorm room smells, and gases (VOCs), as well as smoke from wildfires.

The two washable pre-filters included with each unit can be changed to match any décor, with dark blue and grey pre-filters provided and additional colors available for purchase. The advanced filters enable quiet operation, allowing for a higher air flow at a lower noise level. Designed for large rooms between 600 and 700 square feet (AHAM rated at 620 square feet), this purifier is perfect for large bedrooms, kitchens, and living rooms, with its three fan speeds.
